Workshop (Zoom) Window to Wonder Nature Diorama

A step by step instructed invitation to create your own Window to Wonder…a little piece of nature in everyday life to remind you to step back into the tranquility and resilience experienced in the natural world. Funds from every sale of this workshop helps provide children and families with equitable opportunities to reconnect with nature.

You will receive a kit that will include:

• A 5x7 shadow box with foam attached to place your nature items within your creation

• A little handout about Shnrin-yoku (Forest Bathing)

• a paper reproduction of my hand drawn mushroom (each kit contains a surprise mushroom from a variety of fungi types)

• a laminated paper monarch

• twigs, moss & more, gathered from the Cascade Mountains

• Let’s create together :). A link to a video with step by step instruction (available by early April & emailed to you or the receiver of your gift) + a little fun background with tips about my art process

• a little bag of tea to enjoy your making experience :)

What you will need:

• Any natural items from your surrounding to add to your creation such as twigs, rocks, seed pods/acorns gathered from urban areas or spaces where additional growth is not needed (such as on local trails or in the forest)
